Veterans Tribute Week on November 7th-11th in Lewiston, Idaho

A year in the planning, the Eyes of Freedom team could never have expected the level of hospitality and honor we received throughout one of the most powerful events we have ever attended. The week started with a large motorcycle escort in northern Idaho (click to watch video) and ended with a great welcome into Lewiston. The community itself supported the EoF in droves. Sharon Ledbetter of the Quilts of Valor and her team worked incredibly hard on making this event something we have never experienced in our history. Each day started with veterans receiving Quilts of Valor, while a bugle player played “Taps” in front of the portraits at close each night. We can’t thank everyone that made this event one we will never forget and can’t wait to return to the area in the future.
