The week of Veterans Day provided a busy schedule for the entire Eyes of Freedom team. It started with a trip to Paducah, Kentucky where we were asked to display our outdoor aluminum exhibit at three stops. Event sponsors Royal Oaks Chevrolet and Four Rivers Harley Davidson both hosted the memorial for one day before moving to the National Quilt Museum with fellow military support organization, Quilts of Valor. Having three locations afforded the community plenty of chances to experience the EoF. With this being our first visit to Kentucky, we were met with open arms and many stories to tell. Denny Wimberg, the father of fallen Lima Co. Marine Sgt.David Wimberg, was on hand to share stories about his son. This made the experience even more powerful for our visitors. Thanks Denny!
