Rolling Thunder 2016 on May 27th – 30th in Washington, DC
July 27, 2016 11:56 pmFor the second consecutive year The Eyes of Freedom journeyed to Washington, DC for Memorial Day Weekend. We were glad to join the National Veterans Awareness Ride which begins in Sacramento, CA and travels east across the entire nation until it arrives in DC. The NVAR Ride has more to its mission than just getting to Washington, as they make scheduled stops along the entire route at places like VA Medical Centers, Veteran Posts, etc. Unlike last year, we displayed our outdoor aluminum display which allowed us to avoid a large event tent and the exhibit was VERY visible, right on the Washington Monument grounds. On Sunday the brand new EOF Hauler joined roughly 600,000 motorcycles in the parking lots of the Pentagon to await the annual protest ride through downtown DC. What an amazing weekend!
