A departure from our last few Memorial Day exhibitions, The Eyes of Freedom made its debut in the state of New York during the week of this Memorial Day with PepsiCo at their Corporate and World Headquarters! PepsiCo’s military support network, “Valor”, was proud to host this powerful tribute at their offices in Purchase, NY and White Plains, NY where nearly 5,000 employees experienced The Eyes of Freedom mission; many for the very first time.
EOF Board President and PepsiCo Chief Information Officer Jody Davids, Gold Star Mother to Lima Co’s Wesley Davids, proudly spoke of her son and all of our fallen in front of a captivated audience.
To end the NY trip, the portraits made a special appearance in Bronx, NY at none other than Yankee Stadium! The Yanks fell to the Oakland A’s in a close ballgame, but the Eyes of Freedom stole the show that Friday evening as 40,000 in attendance viewed our portraits AND our 30-second commercial on the Jumbotron in center field! OOHRAH.
