A long time in the planning, the Eyes of Freedom was finally on display in downtown Chillicothe, Ohio for the 85,000 people that came to the Feast of the Flowering Moon festival for our 200th event!. While the festival itself has a native American theme, our memorial stood in the section of the festival with a few other military groups. Despite some rain during the middle of our time there, the crowds continued and some very powerful moments were to be witnessed. Since we were in the hometown of fallen Lima Marine Aaron Reed, his portrait was very popular with thousands that came by to visit his image and to tell the team a story or two about knowing Aaron.
