With one stop of the tour under our belts, we looked forward to visiting new areas and Antelope Valley College didn’t disappoint. The surrounding high desert and incredible vistas set up a very positive welcome into the area. Several classes spent a lot of time with us so we were able to give them the full tour. A lot of the public came to pay tribute as well. One person in particular, Rose, paid us several visits, each time bringing something for us to take on the road. Rose designed new dog tags to add to our merchandise among many other items. We also received dog tags that help enhance the exhibit by having a photo and information of each of the fallen heroes displayed in the portraits. We have to give special thanks to Monteigne Long and everyone else that helped make this another great stop!
