We were excited to be asked to return to the Franklin County Fair for our second time. Even though the last time we were on display here was in 2013, it seemed as if no time had passed. Due to the full-sized memorial being on display elsewhere in the country (see below), the aluminum version proved to be equally as powerful with many return visitors commenting on just how incredible this display was. A very nice surprise awaited us as we arrived and were welcomed by the signed USMC flag we gave the fair in 2013, framed and positioned in a highly visible area. We were also surprised to have nine quilts donated to us, made from the Quilts of Valor. These quilts will be handed out to veterans we meet while traveling. Special thanks to the Fair Board and those that made this event so special!
